Cheryl Mitchell Wade was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey where she nurtured her life long love or reading and writing. She honed her writing skills while working in various Executive Management positions in City and County Governements in NJ and California. She penned  speeches for Mayors and Council members, drafted legislation, proclamations, resolutions and policies.

In recognition of Cheryl's contributions a day was proclaimed in her honor by the City of Oakland, California (October 16th); a Cheryl Mitchell Wade Boulevard  street sign was presented by the City of Millbrae, California; and she recived Cerificates of Special Recognition form United States Congressman Lantos, and California State Senator Speier.

Cheryl has written several original screenplays,  including: Brandon County - The Government that provides Killer Service; 12/12/12 -Dream Deferred; @ Your Service; Extra  Innings; Fine Print  and Photogenic.

​

Her debut novel - Photogenic (adapted from her screenplay) was published in 2018. Photogenic Vengeance was released in 2021, and the thired novel in the triology will be published in 2024.
